Inspired by Cecily Brown’s painting Bonus, this live/work space is conceived as a breath of fresh air on a spring day. Brown’s work is characterized by energetic brushstrokes, layered abstraction, and a tension between chaos and control. In deliberate contrast, the design responds with calm and lightness—creating a serene, atmospheric backdrop for both family life and creative practice.

Whether arriving as a guest to the studio or returning home as a family member, the space unfolds gradually - allowing rooms, light, and views to reveal themselves slowly and intentionally.
